Extended heel pad prevents slippage common in boot wear. Stretch nylon at top stays up above the boot - holds in palce all day. Lightweight padding in arch cushions and supports arch allowing for better fit. Midweight padding at ball and heel protects against impact and abrasion commonly caused by heel slippage.
